HCF & West Cumbria Rivers Trust busy beaver Day - We hosted 60 young beavers for a day of activities including wildflower sowing, wool spinning and woodwork.
HCF & West Cumbria Rivers Trust community fun day - a day of fun workshops for over 200 community members, wood carving, black smithing, ceramics, seed bombs and river exploration.
HCF Seedy Saturday - Welcoming in spring with a community seed and plant swap. Around 40 local plant lovers came along to swap plants and knowledge.
HCF and world health innovation summit - we hosted W.H.I.S. guests for a day of holistic classes and treatments including reiki, yoga, bio-energy healing and a lovely vegan lunch.
HCF & West Cumbria Rivers Trust tree planting day - around 30 young people came to help plant trees and learn about their importance in protecting us against further flooding in Cumbria.
'What the wild things do' creative careers festival - an event funded by Arts Council England offered a day of music, food and workshops in creative topics. We also welcomed pop singer and electro DJ 'Little Boots' who ran workshops in electro music. Around 250 people came to enjoy the day.
HCF & West Cumbria Rivers Trust community day - bringing local families together on a rainy day to have fun in the river, hunt for bugs and get very wet!
HCF & Lush - our ethical pamper day at HCF supported by Lush cosmetics welcomed 60 guests to try beauty and wellness treatments using natural cruelty free products. Coinciding with the Lush 'GAY IS OK' soap bar launch!
HCF & Wigton Youth Station summer festival - we hosted a local festival organised by the young people of Wigton. Welcoming over 250 visitors.
HCF & Football Beyond Borders - we welcomed a group of young people from Croydon to sample country life by wild camping, making fires and working with the animals!
